Welcome to Clegg Hall Fisheries
Overlooked by the historical Clegg Hall and Mound, all set against a backdrop of the Magnificent Pennine Hills, Clegg Hall Trout Fisheries is the North West newest venue.
Comprising of two gin clear spring fed lakes both thoughtfully designed lakes go to a depth of 15 feet in places covering over 12.5 acres and are set in 25 acres of stunning, relaxing landscaped grounds.
Stocked on a regular basis with Brown, Rainbow, Blue and brown trout to 15 pounds plus and fishable from all banks.
The natural and aquatic wild life is stunning It is not uncommon to spot deer, badgers, foxes and rabbits, etc; along with an abundance of bird life including waterfowl, herons, birds of prey and most other species of British birds, making this the ideal place to sit and enjoy the best that nature and the scenery has to offer!
We have tackle hire with a good selection of flies for sale. Our staff are experienced fly fishermen and will be on hand to give you free tips and advice making your day as productive and enjoyable as possible. Hot drinks and sandwiches are available.
